A Case Report of Hemophilic Arthritis


Abstract
A case of hemophilic arthritis, of which the incidence is uncommon. Hemophilia is a hereditary blood dyscrasia, characterized by inadequate coagulation due to deficient thromboplastin.
Hemophilia A and B are inherited as sex-Iinked recessive traits occuring exclusively in males and transmitted by carrier females. Hemophilia C is transmitted as a dominant trait, and affects both sexes.
There is the familial history which an uncle on his mother¢¥s side died of hemophilia.
Roentgenographic features of this case are also reviewed.
